While it is not easy to potty train a child, potty training boys can be doubly hard. Statistically, boys do take longer to train, but that fact shouldn't discourage you from beginning the process. Keep in mind that when you gain your child's trust and confidence, the potty training skills will follow.

Advice and tips from other parents on the process can be very helpful and comforting.
The first day parents begin the process of potty training their toddler can be a day of happiness and trepidation. No more diaper changes is a big incentive to begin the process, but it can be a long and frustrating experience.

While you as the parent may be ready, with the potty seat, underwear, books on how to potty train, DVDs and a reward system established for positive reinforcement, you need to make sure you have prepared your child for the big event.
Do you take your baby to the sitters, daycare or grandma's a lot. Do you live in an urban or rural area? Commute via public transit? Do you pack for every contingency or are you a light packer? What is their budget? If you are looking to invest in a good diaper bag that will last a few years then you'll probably want to spend a bit more. If you just want something to throw gear into for a few months you should expect to pay much less.
Finding the perfect apartment for rent can be a challenge in itself. A child often finds it difficult to understand why they have to move away from their old home and away from their friends. Locating a great apartment for rent and moving can be chaotic and stress filled. There are several steps that can be taken to make moving to your new apartment rental an easier experience.
Stuck for a great Christmas present for the kids this year? Have you considered a decorative toilet seat? Silly as it may sound, a decorative toilet seat may be just the idea you're looking for.

Why? Because it's sure to get the kids laughing, over and over, every time they use it.

No it's not the first gift idea you'd come up with is it? But a decorative toilet seat is certainly a fun gift idea that kids love.
Knowing when to start feeding your baby solid foods and when to start potty training can leave new parents confused. Many questions pop up in the process, such as when to start solids.

Should you make homemade baby food? How much is enough? To help you weave your way, let's look at some food guidelines for infants and toddlers. We will cover the when, what and how much questions you may have about feeding your child up to the age of 3.
Well, you may as well give up the ghost: There's nothing much worse than turning older (if you're past a "certain age") and then topping off the day by getting boring gifts. What a kick in the head. Whatever happened to laughter, that generous gift of the spirit that never wears out its welcome? Is it really that difficult to think up ways to make a birthday FUNNY? What's better, really, than sharing a side-splitting day with someone on their birthday?

Sometimes you have to get a little crazier than usual, but that's the point; you want this to be a challenge, both to yourself and to the birthday gal or guy in your life - but it's up to you to arrange ways to make this birthday funny, so climb aboard:

Treat your birthday pal to a lunch at his or her favorite place and gorge yourselves.
Care packages often include things like food, toiletries, and photographs for the person who is away from home, but these little items dont have to be all that is included. There are many larger items that are frequently needed and appreciated that dont make it into many care packages, so here is a list of some of those things that should be included that many people often do not think about.
The practice of California estate planning often includes the creation of wills for distribution of property after the testator has deceased. Within many California wills, estate planning attorneys are asked to include a clause entitled a no contest clause, in which the testator attempts to discourage litigation to contest the will after he or she is deceased.
There can't be many of us without fond memories of that feeling of conquering a particularly complex looking climbing frame at some point during our childhood. It looks like a mountain and is the cause of many bruises but how does it feel when you reach the top and look down on all the lesser kids who couldn't quite make it?

Doesn't it just make you feel superior? Doesn't it make you want to sit up there for hours and enjoy the view, even if it is out over the local council estate, knowing that what you thought impossible actually wasn't?

You see, a climbing frame is viewed by many as just a plaything for children but it is so much more.
